Focusrite Scarlett Solo Studio (3rd Gen) USB Audio Interface and Recording Bundle with Pro Tools
Earlier this year I travelled to another country and whilst I was there, they had put my home country on the travel "Red List" which meant I could not get a flight back home. I therefore had no choice, but to stay in a beautiful country (laughing), but missed creating music and doing my recordings.
I decided to purchase a MacBook Pro (M1) and downloaded all my music from iCloud, so that I could continue to do my mixes in Logic Pro X.
I began searching for a reasonably priced audio interface, as all my music production equipment was at home. To my surprise I found this amazing bundle on Amazon and purchased it right away.
I am familiar with Focusrite Audio Interfaces as I have used them for many years and they have always been reliable, high quality and stable during my recording sessions. So this was a very comfortable purchase for me.
All the products that came in this bundle are very light weight and easy to travel with.
The large diaphragm condenser microphone is decent quality and allows good recordings (podcast or vocals).
The upgraded HP60 MkIII closed-back headphones are ok, but not high spec. However they are good enough to listen back to your recordings etc.
The Pro performance with the finest pre-amps, this Scarlett Solo audio interface is great, very lightweight and creates very low latency (this is also dependent on the music software you are using and buffers sizes). You can learn more about buffer sizes in Logic Pro X here. It has a Mic, monitor and instrument inputs, all you need to start creating great music. It also has a switchable Air mode which will add extra clarity to your vocals when recording with your Scarlett Solo.
